Our Journey

It took about 2 1/2 years but by 2013 the lake was finally full.

The foundation for the main building was poured in April 2017

We wanted to build everything we could with our own hands, so after a year of milling the wood ourselves, we started remodeling an existing structure to hone our skills.

With the remodel complete, we focused on the next project.

 With the foundation done, we were finally able to start building

Finally it was time for the first truss to go up.

Then the roof went on.

Ceiling installed

With all the trusses up, we moved to the ceiling.

Inside work was next.

We custom built a 2 tier bar.

Handmade wagon wheel light fixtures.

It was a lot of hard work but it was well worth it!

Dirt work on the main building site and road elevation started in 2015

Our journey started back in 2007 when we had the opportunity to purchase 70 acres of land just outside of our hometown of Kilgore, Texas.
